Ling Liang High School recently celebrated its 49th Annual Concert at Girish Mancha, featuring a vibrant four-hour cultural extravaganza. Students from Nursery to Class 12 participated in the event, showcasing an impressive blend of music, dance, and drama that captivated a packed auditorium. The program was graced by Chief Guest Reverend Ravindra Raj, Pastor of the Tollygunge Christian Fellowship, and opened with a graceful welcome song and prayer that set a solemn yet celebratory tone for the evening.
The concert featured diverse performances, including a lively Chinese dance and a charming rendition of “The Pied Piper of Hamelin” by students from Nursery to Class 2. Older students maintained the momentum with an energetic dance titled “Light that Unites All,” followed by a theatrical journey to the Pride Lands as Classes 6 and 7 brought the story of Disney’s The Lion King to life. The evening concluded with a Bengali dance drama, further highlighting the school’s dedication to celebrating a wide array of cultural and artistic traditions.
